In Stanke without electricity will be still like to repeat offenders - The concert series has given me so far always liked what I've written so even in my previous blog (December blog now also videos installed ^ ^) . Therefore, it was time to Kassel.

The "Find of the Week" had to be there again. Nice that the guys have again brought new things for us.

Chris Dagger made the beginning and read a text on Father's Day by Dietmar Wischmeyer, an author of the Vega and Chris is very excited. I find such a review a nice way to let the time pass in review again and call on one or the other to mind again.

fruit and vegetables, as always, the kilo. :-) Especially the fruit was sensational, we order back frequently for food in tropical , which is really more of a sensation when you open the packages! Otherwise much of the new cookbooks, from which the examples here: "Delightful vegetarian" (a hammer-book!), Also from "soup luck" and from "Hiltl - Vegetarian - The world Guest " (DAS vegetarian restaurant in Switzerland! Elphaba - Roberta Valentini

Finally! Elphaba No. 6 - I had to wait long for it, but now I had finally time to the musical stage, and not always "just" on the concert stage! Her voice has a beautiful sound. The theater was filled almost to the last seat. and 95% of people were there because of the Derniere. This can be noticed very, very much! Beside me sat an older couple, who already back and again marveled at what an event because they were advised. For the metronome was already like a beehive. Everything was buzzing in anticipation. Thus Derniere - You are happy and sad at the same time it is - in any case it's kind of jittery and excited ... And so it went with me. On the one hand, I could not wait and on the other hand, the parting was hard!

The atmosphere was incredible. Before the show was by told by loudspeaker that the metronome Theatre and the Wicked team adopted the following performers ... Then, the names listed above and the latest on Willemijn name broke almost deafening applause. Since you once had a taste of what have come to the would, because at times it sounded as if you were a stadium rock concert, so went with the audience to the performers and especially Willemijn all over again to show how beautiful the most time with them / it was.

I do not know what to say. It was the first time I've seen a double show and I would have thought that the second show, perhaps as a long-felt because we saw almost the same until a few hours before. Strangely, the opposite was the case. May have been, or whatever the special feature of the performance was a rare act as nice and as compelling as this evening.

I felt was that those who go and remain absolutely EVERYTHING have given what was in them. Above all, Willemijn, which has always played well and sung, but has surpassed himself again by a mile and more intense than in the matter was.

Only in "Defying Gravity" I was a little too much. For when Elphaba goes into the air, their song by the applause was almost impossible to understand.

in the second act there was less opportunity for adaptation than as a "wicked" witch, it just does not fit. As already mentioned - I just can not say often enough - all played very hard.

This weekend was filled out plenty! 3 shows, including one or two very, very emotional with many tears ... But the musical marathon has begun rather funny!

Saturday night it was namely to "Oklahoma" to farmers and cowboys. Regina Lemnitz is the German voice of Whoopi Goldberg and a great actress. She played Aunt Eller, and I really enjoyed very good!

Desirée Brodka and Wilfried van den Brande as Laurie and Jud were vocal and facial really very good. Unfortunately, both have sung very classical. This is clearly a matter of taste and just because it is simply not my case, it does not mean that it was bad. On the contrary. Both have demonstrated real skills ... only I can unfortunately is not so much start.

Christian Brückner just has the perfect voice and visual storyteller, he also fit perfectly into the picture. Somehow he has made in reading more comic movements - I was occasionally distracted a little, but great read. No wonder he so deserves his money!

Jana wore a denim dress and boots and Desiree had thrown in cowboy boots and Western outfit. The stage ... well, actually there were any because the performers have shared the stage with the huge orchestra and choir. But they had the edge but some cacti built around the whole of the corresponding Western touch to give.

I found a bit of a shame, because in the end everything went a little oops-hop. After all the positive criticism I have ever read about the production of Spring Awakening in Frankfurt, I had almost sure that my huge expectations perhaps disappointed could be. But far from it - my expectations were met and surpassed! It was a great evening, after the repeated cries (if it does not just merely would have been the penultimate show ...).

I love theater productions like this one! ! Next year maybe " Bare I want to spread any rumors - I would find just awesome and it would fit in the theater so that if someone reads this, can the English Theater in Frankfurt to make suggestions: BARE Please!! :)
